“Bridging the Generation Gap” is the topic of the Rotary District Conference to be held on May 1st – 3rd in Traverse City.

“Unicorns, They Do Exist: Talking to Young Professionals in Rotary” is a keynote speech by Nicole Hayden-Jones, senior coordinator for membership at Rotary International. In addition, Jon Plummer of Moomers Ice Cream will speak about “Millennials Working Effectively with Boomers.”
 
There will also be a Young Professionals Summit and breakout sessions for Membership, Interact, Life Leadership, Public Image, Fundraising, Youth Exchange, and On-Site Food Insecurity Service Project.
 
Social activities for the weekend include an international youth exchange dinner, and the movie “Shot Heard Round the World,” which will be featured at the State Theater.
 
The conference fee is $75 plus meals and lodging. Register for Conference Online. Reservations are due April 10.
 
There will also be pre-conference activities, including Foundation Grant Workshop and Humanity in Motion Foundation Luncheon. These require a separate registration.
