Mr. Carl Goeman addressed the club at the November 4 meeting.  Carl is a retired state policeman and for the past ten years has served as the head of the Office of Antrim County Emergency Management.  Carl had many interesting things to say regarding planning for the unexpected.  Common sense ideas make the best ideas but to help us out a little, Carl passed out a booklet with a check list on the back for those of us for whom "common sense" might not be as common as it once wasblush.  Local Emergency Managers, such as Carl, all around the country, also have a role to play in their relationship to Homeland Security.  Could something happen in our corner of paradise?  Sure!  It helps to plan for the unexpected.  By the way, carl won the 50/50 and donated the money back to the club.  Thank you, Carl.
